Very Bad Place .. The wrost thing is cleanliness.. The rooms and bath basins are too dirty.. and there is no water to taps..At night there are also mosquito's and lizards to..

Rajgad Homestay in Panhala is a wonderful place for a peaceful and comfortable stay. Surrounded by natural beauty, it offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere away from the city rush. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and provide all basic amenities needed for a pleasant experience. The hospitality of the hosts is truly commendable… they are warm, helpful, and ensure guests feel at home. The location is convenient for exploring Panhala Fort and nearby attractions. The food served is delicious and homely, adding to the overall charm of the stay. A perfect choice for families, couples, or solo travelers looking for a cozy and memorable getaway.

I stayed for the night with my friends.
It was booked on that day only on the phone call and the vanue was ready.
The caretaker (Mr Ramesh Patilsir) was ready to welcome us and showed the whole farmhouse.
The food was also ready and served on our order.
It was authentic kolhapuri food tasty and delicious.
Other than that like starters and other stuff we have to order saperate, but it was provided within 1 hour.
There was also separate kitchen area where one can preapare food on his own.
There were four rooms with total 14 beds and 4 balconies.
The ambiance was good with eye friendly lighting
And there was quite environment with natural sounds like rain, wind and insects.
Music was allowed.
Basic amenities like parking, washroom with hot water, TV , fridge were available.
Overall good stay for us. Also it can be used as small parties with dinner.

Nice spacious property close to Panhala and nearby jungles. We even saw deer and peacocks . The caretaker is good and food was also delicious. Only if the bedroom had curtains it would have been perfect since it gets pretty bright in the afternoons.

We were a group of ten, visited in Nov-2020. Good clean place. Very spacious. Decently furnished. Bathrooms new & clean. No AC, but it wasn't needed Good, warm caretakers (but need to be trained better). But the stay was less than satisfactory for the following reasons:
1. The pillows (all of 'em) are very hard, shaped like seats. Extremely inconvenient. We expected atleast basic, decent pillows.
2. Towels were not provided. This is again, a basic amenity that one expects without exception. We were told that an earlier guest took their towels away! 😀 Request you to pls provide towels or inform us in advance if u do not intend to, so that guests can plan accordingly.
The dinner was well prepared. Tasty & hygienic. But breakfast (poha, omelettes, bread) though, was quite disappointing. We also ordered kanda bhajji for an extra charge. Had to make multiple requests to get adequate plates & glasses on the breakfast table. Further, the caretaker waited till all the breads & omelettes were ready (while we kept waiting) and then served them all together, oily & cold.
The caretakers are well-meaning, but clearly need to be trained better. Also need adequate, decent cutlery.
With these small changes & corrections, this will surely become a magnet for tourists like us! All the best! 🙂
